Schedule of Nust Entrance Test(NET)

According to the Nust administration the schedule of NET for the year 2015 will almost be the same as was in year 2014. So below is the tentative Schedule of tests for 2015 sessions. There can be a minor changes in it, in that case we will announce them. This schedule will be followed for all the fields that are being offered in Nust ( Medical , Engineering, Business Studies, BS Math, BS Physics, Arts).

Schedule of NET-1:

Registration Starts: November 17, 2014
Registration Ends:  December 18th, 2014
Test Dates: December 20, 2014 - January 2015

Schedule of NET-2:

Registration Starts: March 7th, 2015
Registration Ends: April 7th, 2015
Test Dates: March 25th - April 12th, 2015

Schedule of NET-3:

Registration Starts: May 9th, 2015
Registration Ends: June 15th, 2015
Test Dates: June 14th - July 14th , 2015

Timings of the test
The test will be held in two sessions in a day. First session will be from 9 am - 12 pm and the second session from 2 pm - 5 pm. The date and time for the test will be selected by the candidate during registration process.

Test Session For CMH & FMH

Test Session For CMH & FMH Fee = Rs 1000 Only Entrance Test of CMH for the admission year 2015 is scheduled to be conducted on 8th Nov, 2015. There will be 5 portions in the test: Biology Chemistry Physics English Intelligence Total 100 questions will be there from these 5 subjects, 20 from each of these. Inverse of a Function In this Post I will discuss the method for finding the inverse of a given function from the 4 options as given in the Entrance tests of Engineering Universities. The very first step before finding the inverse is to make a check whether the function is One-to-One or not.  By One-to-One function we mean that function for example f(x) should not have the same value at two different values of x. In other words for each element of the Domain there should be a distinct element in the range. Check for One-to-One: A function which passes the horizontal line test is a One-to-One function. This means if a horizontal line is drawn it should not cross the function curve at more than one point. Another way to check if a function is One-to-One or not is shown below: If , f(a) = f(b) , implies that a=b , the given function is One-to-One.
