Number of seats increasing in NUST? A news is circulating on Entry Test related paged and groups about increment in number of seats NUST is offering for Engineering & Business Studies.  This is not a confirm or official news. On asking the people who posted this news that how they came to know about it, the answer is the other page or group shared it, so we shared it too. Everyone gives such reason and there seem to be no source of this news at all. Probably made up some such page by its own.  Advice to the students: Do not trust in any such news, unless its source is stated along with. And if source is stated try to confirm the news on your own. Your future might be at stake because of it.  And do keep a second option. This post will answer the general questions about NUST, NET, merits and such issues. Q1) When the result of Paper Based Test and Architecture will be announced? Answer: The last paper based test in Karachi & Quetta was held on July 5th, a few students in Islamabad were made to appear in written test instead of computer based test because of some visionary issues and last test of Architecture in Islamabad was conducted on July 8th. All these results will be out on the same day probably. According to NUST, result of architecture is prepared in about two weeks. So these results are expected to be announced between 20 to 25th July. Q2) When the merit lists will be announced? Answer: After the announcement of all the results, NUST will announce the merit positions for Engineering, Business Studies and Architecture based on their marks of matric, FSc Part 1 and NET. MBBS/BDS Admissions 2015 A) ENTRANCE TEST 1) UHS shall conduct an Entrance Test on behalf of the Government of Punjab for admission to MBBS/BDS program on Sunday August 30th, 2015 . 2) As per the regulations of PMDC its mandatory a candidate desirous of admission to any public or private medical/dental college of the province to appear in the test. 3) Those students who wish to appear in the Entrance test must have at-least 60% marks in Fsc Pre medical or equivalent. Those who are waiting for the result, need to attach a hope certificate issued by the Head of their institution. (Sample available on www.uhs.edu.pk ) 4) The 150 minutes ( 2.5 hours ) test shall consists of 220 MCQs of total 1100 marks.
