Many students are confused for which field/fields they can apply in Nust. The chart below summarizes all this data.

Students of FSC Pre engineering can apply for:

  • Engineering, BS Computer Sciences
  • BS Physics
  • BS Math
  • Business Studies
  • Arts
Students of FSC Pre Medical can apply for:

  • MBBS, BDS, Bio-Sciences
  • Business Studies
Students of FSC Pre Medical with additional Math can apply for:

  • Engineering, BS Computer Sciences
  • MBBS, BDS, Bio-Sciences
  • BS Physics
  • BS Math
  • Business Studies
  • Arts
Students with CS, Math and Chm as major subjects can apply for:

  • BS Computer Sciences, Telecom Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering
  • BS Physics
  • BS Math
  • Business Studies
  • Arts
Students of A level with Maths, Phy and Chm as major subjects can apply for:

  • Engineering, BS Computer Sciences

Arts include B Architecture and B Industrial design.
Business Studies include BBA Hons, BS Public Administration, BS Mass Communication, BS Economics, BS Accounting & Finance.

In order to apply for more than one fields, select all the fields you want to apply in your registration form.For example if a student of pre engineering wants to apply for engineering and business studies he has to select both the fields in the same form. No need to create a different account. Same applies to more than 2 fields as well. For each field a different test will be conducted and merit of each field will be made separately.

Registration process for NUST Entrance Test

The registration process for Nust Entrance test is online. An online form is to be filled in order to get registered for the test. Below are the steps of registration.  Step 1:  Open the admission homepage of Nust:  Nust undergraduate admissions   Click on New registration button,as shown in the picture below:                A new page will open stating some instructions and a form to create login.  Step 2:  Fill that form and submit. NUMS

National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) Constituent Colleges: The existing medical colleges of the armed forces would come under the umbrella of this university i.e. Army Medical College (AMC) Rawalpindi Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences CMH Lahore Medical College  will be under NUMS and these will follow one standard course format. Why NUMS? One of the reasons to establish NUMS is to increase the intake of the army cadets.  NUMS Entry Test: Entry Test for above mentioned colleges will be conducted once a year. The test will be conducted in October - November. Those students who wish to apply on civilian seats or as paying cadets will have to appear in this test. Pattern of the Test: Biology 20 MCQs Chemistry 20 MCQs Physics 20 MCQs English 20 MCQs Intelligence 20 MCQs Total MCQs = 100. Time allowed to solve the test will be 2 hours. Inverse of a Function

Inverse of a Function In this Post I will discuss the method for finding the inverse of a given function from the 4 options as given in the Entrance tests of Engineering Universities. The very first step before finding the inverse is to make a check whether the function is One-to-One or not.  By One-to-One function we mean that function for example f(x) should not have the same value at two different values of x. In other words for each element of the Domain there should be a distinct element in the range. Check for One-to-One: A function which passes the horizontal line test is a One-to-One function. This means if a horizontal line is drawn it should not cross the function curve at more than one point. Another way to check if a function is One-to-One or not is shown below: If , f(a) = f(b) , implies that a=b , the given function is One-to-One.
